Two teenage boys fall into a coma following an accident.

The world of their unconscious becomes a fight for survival as dull reality in the hospital morphs into acute danger in the new dimension.

The story is told from the viewpoint of Peter, 15 and his sister, Brooke, 17.

Disclaimer:

The book contains swearing as to fit in with the characters' personalities and the dire situations they encounter.

The novel also involves adult relationship themes.

Suitable for mature 15+

For those who would like to have a translation page for the ninja character in the book, here is a pdf...many thanks to my friend Naoko Grantham for her Japanese expertise X )

Screenplay

This is a film-length screenplay.
Two boys enter an alternate reality together after head trauma injuries.

I morphed this screenplay into the short novel: Stimuli....but I personally like my screenplay better.

Some nice words from the guys at the BlueCat Screenplay Comp:

You do a great job of drawing the reader in from the beginning, while simultaneously introducing many of the necessary characters. Your writing is very efficient and to the point.
The pacing of your story is very well done, and the imaginative settings keep the pages turning. There were very few times during the script that made me pause, or anticipate the end of the scene.
You do a very good job of drawing parallels between what is happening in the real world and what is going on in the boys’ heads without being too on-the nose. The fantasy sequences are incredibly imaginative and are constantly moving forward. You create a wonderful juxtaposition between the action packed fantasy sequences, and the more subdued hospital sequences where family and friends are helpless and must simply wait.
